Battery Recycling Challenge – Leader Board And Awards

Congratulations for everyone’s efforts on the Earth Day Battery Recycling Challenge, and especially those of the three schools with the highest participation – Haine Elementary, Dutilh Preschool, and St. Gregory’s.

The school winning the drawing for $500 is Dutilh Preschool.

The Student Leadership Award for most batteries by weight collected by a student goes to Teagan Mmel of Haine Elementary.  For her effort, Haine Elementary will received $100.  Teagan also get a $50 gift certificate for our Battery Giant store.

To thank St Gregory’s for also participating in our Earth Day Student Battery Recycling Challenge, we will provide St Gregory’s with a $50 gift certificate good for anything in our store.

Here is the FINAL tally as of April 23.  Thanks to all that participated.  We will be drawing the winning schools and announcing prizes later today.

Dutihl Preschool has the most entries and best chance of winning, followed by Haine Elementary and St Gregory’s.  We will pull the winning entry on Earth Day – April 22.
